Speeding and/or noisy cars and motorbikes in the Highfield area

Dear Highfield resident

We are receiving reports from some parts of the ward of cars and motorbikes speeding, or have illegal modified exhausts making them much louder than the law permits, and which cause annoyance in terms of the noise, and a danger in terms of the speeding.

Our team intend to deploy speed guns in the near future in and around Queensway, Catsdell and Fletcher Way to counter this behaviour and will with any other offences that present themselves on stopping any vehicle.

In the meantime, we would appreciate any information in relation to these vehicles, such as names, addresses, number plates, plus times and locations. Any info received will be treated with strict confidentiality, as will any info about crime, drug dealing etc.
